දිවි පියසටහන්
වනබිම මැද,
මග අසල,
සුදුවැලි මත,
දිටිමි දිවියෙකුගේ පියසටහන්
එතැන් සිට,
අදුරු වනගැබ ද,
හුදෙකලා වැව්තෙර ද
දිවියා ය……..
ගිරිකුළු මත ද,
තුරුමුදුන්හි ද,
දිවියා ය……..
නුදුටුවද දිවියා,
රැදුණි පියසටහන් සිතෙහි.
මැකෙනා තුරු ඒ සටහන් ,
නගරයෙහි ද,
වැඩබිමෙහි ද,
නිවසෙහි ද,
දිටිමි වන දිවියා…
The Footprints of a LEOPARD
In the middle of the Woodlands ,
On the white sandy gametrack
I beheld the sight of a LEOPARD’S footprints…..
From that moment onwards,
In the semi darkened Forest,
And on the lonely shore of the Lake,
THE LEOPARD …………
On the rocky cliffs,
And on the treetops,
THE LEOPARD ………
Though the sight of THE LEOPARD
was not beheld ,
Its footprints were etched in my mind,
Till those Footprints got erased in the course of time,
In the City,
In my Workplace ,
At my Home,
Everywhere ,
I saw that WILD LOEPARD………
