දයා ආනන්ද රණසිංහ - එක්සත් රාජධානිය

මවක් රක්නා ලෙස එකම පුතු
තමන් ප්‍රාණය නොසලකා   හැර
සියල් සතුනට වඩන ලෙස මෙත
ලොවට වදහළ කුළුණු       සාගර
අවිද්‍යාවෙන්  අඳුරු සක්වළ
එකලු කළ භගවත් දිවා         කර
දොහොත් මුදුනත තබා වඳිනෙමි
උදය දහවල රැයද එක          යුර

Just as a mother protects her only child
Even at the risk of her life
One should cultivate boundless clemency
Towards all beings
Said the Awakened Master
With oceans of compassion.

Then the entire universe illuminated
by his words, banishing the darkness
of hatred and ignorance.

As my only refuge:
Homage to the Blessed One!
In the morning, noon and
Evening, all the same!
