Oppression/My Ebony Skin
A struggle of our people is never a simple story for I am still awaiting the day of victory.
I am still oppressed by a Empire that no longer has a grip on my ancestral land.
You must understand that my Ebony Skin is not a sin, an yet it offends many.
I fear people are not ready too hear the story of the occupation of a Island nation,
I am still awaiting emancipation because I ll never receive recognition for the labours of my ancestors.
For my Ebony Skin offends many and I am proud of my heritage which rules my rage as you read on this page dont be fooled.
I for one am not an educated man just a hated Ghetto poet who speaks his mind to the blind
