Philosopher and the Ornament

Everybody had an ornament I better had one for myself soon I thought I struggled At long last I found one I wore it round my neck in a hurry without a second thought looked around with much pride jealousy and sarcasm in others' eyes I simply ignored. I knew that the others were eyeing my ornament they stopped on track to have a second look I saw danger I had to protect it a slight distraction on my part would have been enough for them to have taken it from me. life made me run I was running non stop Time passed rapidly over head and under the feet now the ornament around my neck Is heavy It is discoloured I am tired too My outlook also has changed I am becoming more philosophical The ornament is on my neck let alone a second look nobody is turning the head to have the first look even any more I am sure that nobody will take it. Occasionally passers by turn their heads this time to have a curious look at me I wonder why Is it to check my sanity ? Could you please tell me 04-02-2023
