Amma, just wave to me once more
A warmest July dawning when blossoms wore their best.
We little knew that morning , whats going to be the next.
The ringing tone was normal yet a sad chord struck just guess!
The voice so calm conveyed the words, that stilled us beating the chest!
Sixteen summers passed we sigh, sans the touch and voice so dear,
You left a void so deep in heart, that none will fill in years,
No recordings needed to retrieve that voice, so strong and warm to the hear.
You whisper to me each hour with love, that voice is grilled in ear.
No photos needed to remind the smile , thats radiant and sincere
The captures in the mind so clear will fail to fade no fear.
I am holding you so gently, allowing to swim upwards in river.
As you followed the rule of Dhamma, NOBLE and so PURE.
Amma, still greed smeared thought in me asking you a favour,
Before you reach the winning post, please wave to me my dear,
From Ealing Common station
With teared smeard smile sincere,
As I saw you for the very last time, when you grilled my heart with that tear!
