Atticus now a teenager

Atticus now a teenager

Lakshmi Perera - London
2021-December

A gloomy autumn dawn, with leaves carpetting soil,
Sun rays seeping through, with birds morning fly,
Perched on a corner lonely, with heartbeat rising high,
Ears glued to the curtain, waiting for that arriving cry!
A bundle seen through narrow gap, a long awaited sight!
Bringing me the title ” Grandma” a milestone ranking high!
Streaks of golden appeared, on gray autumn sky,
A warmth ran all over, when waves of love rose high,
Atticus dearest angel, a teenager smart and bright!
Your are achchi’s idol, may future bring you joy!
