My veil glides down in a hushed church
As eyes search for a true father
Except there, one sits in the pews
Whom one day i thought i loved

Within a charming dress she wears
Beneath are arts of wounds
Her hand holds me in a tight grip
“He’s okay” I told

Heart within strucks a pause
His cold eyes, cherish my sight
A paradox it is!
To be so in love,
As cuts hurt beneath
Though sometimes harsh , it’s love i know

Will it be true, that happily ever after ?
Dear just one wish! for my daughter
Don’t let me be, my mother
I know it’s love, you give
Even with yells and cuts
My mother looks at a man ,still in love
Guess it’s what women do,
Love what’s harsh and cold..!
