“The beggars are not allowed”
For the Innocent boy in the corner of the bus queue
I remember his face
Again and again I saw
A knelling bell shape
Like a dry leaf eaten by termites
Sitting in the corner
The lanky figure a dumb sitter
No one lean to let any prize
Only a Peck of smile
One word for an hour only
“Please sir’ ”Madam”
All bookish theories dissolved
When I see his semi brightened eyes
They seek our heart all the time like
A great magnet
One bright morning I thought to have a talk
With the bubble a minute
The place was empty full of dust and dirt
A notice was hanged on the short wall
“The beggars are not allowed “
I remember his face
Again and again I saw
A knelling bell shape
Like a dry leaf eaten by termites
Sitting in the corner
The lanky figure a dumb sitter
No one lean to let any prize
Only a Peck of smile
One word for an hour only
“Please sir’ ”Madam”
All bookish theories dissolved
When I see his semi brightened eyes
They seek our heart all the time like
A great magnet
One bright morning I thought to have a talk
With the bubble a minute
