Visiting my second home
Counting the days now getting to hours
Mounting plane coming closer my dears
To see those faces I left with tears
Hoping no war zone will inturrupt no fears!
Left the trees in blossoming groom
And scents of roses spreading the room
Leaves will be changing the dresses soon
From green to shades of vivid chromes!
Walking across the parks in winter clothes
Holding hubby with walker, those days no more
Counting maples, firs, I will be alone
Limping on oak leaves wind has blown!
Getting on tram to see friends so gay,
Admiring the flora, getting naked by day
Ageing has slowed down the limbs this day
Yet thoughts running fast to share fun any day!
UK the Empire on " Sun never Sets"
My second home with loved ones for decades
Visiting the land with full of respect
My pleasure even at this limping stage!
